Our pumpkin patch field trip was absolutely wonderful! The kids enjoyed a hay/wagon ride, picked a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, went through a corn maze, saw donkeys, cows, goats and cats, played on the farm playground (hay bale maze, hay bale climbing tower, sandbox, spider web climbing net, and more, and also enjoyed a picnic style lunch! We really lucked out with the beautiful weather!
Next week, on Tuesday, we will be going to CAVOC. Dress your child in layers, as it will be cool in the morning and (hopefully) warm up throughout the day! And please make sure they have appropriate footwear. (no sandals) Thursday the 27th is Picture day! We will also have our Halloween party next Friday in the afternoon. Please send costumes to school in a bag. We will have time to change into them before the party. If you'd like to send a snack, please reply in the assignment notebook or on this blog. The Dance will follow, after school. This is a fundraiser that is directly applied to activities at school. *Please be sure to send a note if your child is staying and emial [email protected] with number of paretns/guardians/siblings that will be attending to allow enough provided food.
